MDBA architects

MDBA is an architecture, design and urban planning studio founded in Barcelona in 2008. The practice works on both public and private commissions, ranging from urban planning and public space to residential buildings, single-family homes, refurbishments and furniture design. Its work focuses on architectural quality, clarity of design and delivering the highest level of efficiency in responding to each client.

Completed projects include, among others, multidisciplinary buildings for foundations, public buildings for collective institutions, multi-family housing in Barcelona and Terrassa, student residences, single-family homes in various municipalities, as well as numerous full refurbishments and interior design projects for private clients. The studio is currently developing new public buildings, urban planning assignments and collective housing projects in Catalonia and other cities across Spain.

Throughout its trajectory, MDBA has built a stable network of collaborators and technical teams with whom it shares a common sensibility towards design, construction detailing and a close, human approach to architectural practice.
