New pet cementary
The idea of the project is conceived as a contemplative journey: visitors move from the parking area through a peaceful forested path, arriving at a serene funerary building for the final farewell with their pet. This progression through nature prepares the visitor for reflection, creating a sense of calm before entering the building.
The symmetrical plan centers on the cremation space, surrounded by areas for gathering and reflection, creating a calm and respectful environment.
Sustainability is integral: residual heat from the crematory is reused for heating and hot water, passive strategies reduce energy demand, and smart systems optimize comfort. Local, durable ceramics and native landscaping enhance biodiversity and connect the building to its historic and natural context.
The design merges architecture, landscape, and sustainability, offering a meaningful, healthy, and environmentally conscious space that guides visitors from arrival to farewell with dignity and calm.
