V Apartment Renovation

The renovation of this apartment, a penthouse located on Vigo's seafront, involved finding a hierarchy of spaces that would allow everything within it to flow naturally, and literally, to reshape it.

The living room, kitchen, and dining room flow seamlessly into one another, seeking the best orientation for daily life. Open spaces where the passage of time is felt through their multiple openings. Meanwhile, the north-facing bedrooms create an intimate world, sheltered by the placement of the bathrooms and kitchens.

All of this is defined by the geometry of the roof. This element, which runs the length of the apartment, allows for playing with proportions, adapting the section to each use, and preserving the memory of the existing structure.
