Es Pla Residence
The building designed to accommodate the program of eight residence rooms, together with the common activity area and the staff facilities, is developed entirely on the ground floor. The complex is composed of ten prefabricated modules, connected yet slightly offset from one another to give each bedroom and the shared spaces their own identity. This modular arrangement generates a simple and appealing volumetry, enhanced by gable roofs that provide coherence and character to the whole.
The building is positioned along a northwest–southeast axis, creating a green perimeter around the construction that acts as a transitional buffer and ensures a gentle integration with the surrounding environment.
The modules housing the bedrooms are distinguished from the module containing the common activity areas through a differentiated exterior material treatment and the addition of a large entrance pergola, which functions as a threshold, a welcoming space, and an articulating element between the various functional zones.
